Most likely your day will start with a pick up at your location between 8:30 or 9:00.

The drive toward Volterra will be beautiful but hilly so make sure you will bring something if you suffer from motion sickness but do not be scared cause you will be entertained by an important speech giving you the right background to enjoy then the town with some time on your own.

Stop at the alabaster artisans and Etruscan museum are recommended.

Lunch time offers great options, you can visit an olive oil mill, learn about the process and have a guided olive oil tasting and food and olive oil pairing served at a family setting.

Alternatively a family run winery can be visited in order to taste white and red wines along with olive oil and other products overlooking the beautiful town of San Gimignano.

Alternatively stop at a local trattoria/farm to taste local food!

The day will go on with the afternoon spent walking in the medieval village of Colle Valdelsa Alta.

The adventure starts by taking the elevator taking you through a tunnel up to the hill from where you will enjoy an amazing view of the valley and of the Chianti Classico hills.

Most likely you will see some artisans working fine glass and if you wish you can visit yourself the unique museum of fine glass or go into one of the local shops to learn more about this local product.
